After reading you response (about three times to totally comprehend all that you were saying), I am unable to figure out why you make a big deal about abstinence and the (silly to you) religious right. So what? Protection is readily available to whoever desires - whatever ways deem satisfactory. People (and children) are educated on all topics of contraception. If people want to say abstinence is good, respect it and move on. Maybe the article you speak of was incorrect and your response was valid. Responding with that topic would have been sufficient.

Your article was good. Our economy is on a downturn due to greedy people at the top of these huge companies and our own government. I believe it started when ENRON got caught. It opened a can of worms. I am pretty sure many other companies have the same tactics and now it's time for all these companies to pay the piper and start over.

700 billion dollars (my word) to help who? It certainly isn't being used to help the middleman - the people who run this country (whether the big man wants to believe it or not). Give that money to us by a stimulous packet that is not a little drop in the bucket like our last one! Seriously! I felt like giving mine back it was so piddly! Think of all the money given to people on welfare...food stamps, checks, etc. That money is given freely! How about giving some of the billions to the middle class!!! We certainly will stimulate something! We're the ones supporting this country! Big companies and big government take our money via high prices and taxes; the middle class works for the money and gives the money; the lower class and welfare (sorry, I don't mean disrespect) take the money. We're screwed on both sides. I think the middle class is finally saying we opt out. We're drained. Furthermore, all these companies have to do is lower the interest rate on everything across the board and let the middleclass get back to normal.
