The Butler County Heritage Center boasts a new model train display designed and built by regular Heritage Center volunteer Bill Ketchem. His hobby is model railroads, said Becky Crum-Reinsel, executive director of the Butler County Historical Society. "The display is small, but we hope to have it grow each year and have more volunteers to work on it," she said. The two model railroads will be available for viewing Sunday afternoons through Jan. 4. Hours will be noon until 4 p.m. In addition to the trains, visitors can see the Jay Bee Miniature Circus, Austin and Bantam cars as well as the "jeep," which was produced in the Butler, and exhibits about Pullman-Standard, steel, oil and glass industries. The Heritage Center is at 119 W. New Castle St. Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for children ages 5 to 17, and free for those younger than 5. Call 724-283-8116.
