Air Force Staff Sgt.

Michael Henrie, a member of the Air Force Band of the Pacific based at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Anchorage, Alaska, has deployed to Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Qatar, and Iraq, where the band will perform musical shows.Henrie, a regional band journeyman-percussionist, has served in the military for five years.He is the son of Steve Henrie of Charlotte, N.C., and William Henrie of Warren, Mich. He is the brother of Ryan Henrie of Cranberry Township and Amber Henrie of New York, N.Y.The sergeant graduated in 1992 from Okemos High School, Mich., and earned a master's degree in 2001 from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah.———Army Pfc.
