Blanche Blose Ebner
Blanche Blose Ebner, 86, of Mars died Sunday morning at the LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born in Sykesville, Jefferson County, May 21, 1922, she was the daughter of the late D. Cloye and Alice Reiter Blose.
A homemaker, Mrs. Ebner had been a music teacher at the Big Run School District in Jefferson County.
She was a member of the Park United Presbyterian Church in Zelienople and the Mars Chapter 271, Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, Clarence F. Ebner, who she married Dec. 9, 1944; and two daughters, B. Louise Schellhaas and her husband, Roger, of Green Valley, Ariz., and M. Jane Ebner of Mars. She was the grandmother of Karen, Dee and Sheri; and great-grandmother of Rachel and Zachary.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Dan D. Blose, and a sister, Mary B. Stewart.
