Key Statistics: Led the Golden Tornado with six sacks and had 46 tackles, including 17 solo stops. Was named first-team, All-Northern Six.

• School: Freeport• Class: Junior• Position: Defensive end• Key Statistics: Led the Yellowjackets with 11 sacks and added 62 tackles and two fumble recoveries to highlight a defense that surrendered only 13 points per game and carried the squad to its first playoff berth in five seasons.

• School: Grove City• Class: Senior• Position: Linebacker• Key Statistics: Anchored the linebacking corps for the staunch Eagles defense. Was among the District 10 leaders in tackles with 72, including 37 solo and nine for a loss. Also contributed four sacks and an interception.

• School: Butler• Class: Senior• Position: Linebacker• Key Statistics: Paced Golden Tornado in tackles for second consecutive season, collecting 84 stops, including 25 solos. Also had five sacks and was a first-team, All-Northern Six selection.

• School: Slippery Rock• Class: Senior• Position: Defensive tackle• Key Statistics: Was the heart and soul of the defensive line, leading the team with 90 tackles and 5.5 sacks. Led all District 10 lineman in tackles. Also was a standout on the offensive line.

• School: Mars• Class: Junior• Position: Linebacker• Key Statistics: Tallied 23 tackles and three quarterback sacks for the Planets. Was named to the Greater Allegheny Conference first-team defense. Also rushed for two touchdowns on offense.

• School: Mars• Class: Senior• Position: Defensive Back• Key Statistics: Led the Planets with six interceptions and made 23 tackles. Was a Greater Allegheny Conference first-teamer.

• School: Karns City• Class: Senior• Position: Linebacker• Key Statistics: The first-team all-Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference selection has 44 tackles, one sack and one interception for the Gremlins despite missing two games. Also added 474 yards and five scores on offense.
