Actually, yes. I tell people that I have to put away 10% of my salary if I ever want to retire because that's all I get. I also tell them that I pay nearly $400 per MONTH in insurance.

I consider myself lucky to have the job that I have and that I can buy insurance at the discounted family rate of $400/month. That I have enough money to live on and put 10% away for retirement. But when I look at my 12 month salary and compare it to someone who isn't satisfied with their 9 month salary, and they make as much - or more than me - I wonder why they aren't thankful to have their job. Look around, watch the news to see the millions of people loosing their jobs. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I know a lot of people equally qualified and educated, who would trade places with them and who would thank God every day for that opportunity, instead of going on strike greedily wanting more.
