The Butler County Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Elisabeth Heath Charles, will present its annual holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6 in the auditorium of Butler Intermediate High School, 551 Fairground Hill Road.

Following the symphony's 60th anniversary Diamond Jubilee season theme, this concert is being called "Holiday Gems" and will encompass a collection of crowd favorites and seasonal classics.

Selection will include "Twas the Night before Christmas," written by the symphony's Composer of the Year, Drew Fennell. The Hill Youth Chorale, directed by Kathy Sawyer, will also perform.

Tickets bought in advance are $15 for adults and $5 for students and are available at the symphony office, 259 S. Main St. At the door, adult tickets will be $18; students still pay $5.

ZELIENOPLE — The Young Actors Christian Kompany (YACK) will present the musical "Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?"
