4:12 a.m. Tuesday — Robert Karenbauer, 46, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of drunken driving on Herman Road in Summit Township, moments after violating a protection from abuse order for allegedly contacting a 39-year-old Butler woman on the same road.Karenbauer was placed in the Butler County Prison. He faces charges of contempt of court and driving under the influence.10:35 a.m. Tuesday — Two people were injured when a car driven by John R. Sarver Jr., 43, of Sarver struck the rear of a pickup truck on Route 68 near Buttercup School Road in Connoquenessing Township.Sarver and the other driver, Eric P. Heitzer, 35, of Butler were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. Sarver faces a ticket for careless driving.5 a.m. Tuesday — Acar driven by Maxine Stevenson, 65, of Chicora struck a business sign at the Spillway Bar after skidding off Route 38 in Oakland Township.10:54 p.m. Monday — Acar driven by Raeann Santavicca, 34, of Evans City struck both sides of Buhl Bridge on Route 68 in Forward Township.
6:40 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Kyra Jones, 19, of Rockford, Ill., struck the rear of a trailer being towed by a pickup truck on Interstate 80 in Emlenton.The crash spun around the truck, driven by Dale Yeaney, 35, of Corsica, Jefferson County, and caused the trailer to lose its load on the highway. Jones was cited for driving too fast for conditions.10:33 p.m. Monday — Joshua A. Raymond, 18, of Emlenton was injured when the sport utility vehicle he was driving spun off West Home Road in Richland Township and crashed into an embankment. Raymond, who was treated at UPMC Northwest in Seneca with minor injuries, was cited for a lane violation.
