If their contract is up then why not just hire new teachers that are non union. I dont understand Unions but if they have no contract then why do we have to work them out a new one. If i have a contract with a window cleaning company for a year and it expires i can take bids for a different one to come do my buisness? Why cant we do the same with teachers??

After all they have no contract so why not bid out the job to another group of non union teachers. Or just start hiring teachers that are fresh out of school or not presently working in the field.
