Sure they can change there work environment. Find a better job, thats what most people do.

Simple solution lose the union. Take a chance on who hired you to pay what they think your worth. No need to figure out a merit system use the one I have.

Every quarter my skill set is reviewed. Interpersonal skills to how many days I call off to days late to technical accountability. ETC... its not hard to rate teachers based on what you hire them for so lets not worry about merit.

I hear alot of ifs, ands or buts.

There is alot more I would love to say but this is going to go on until the union for teachers is gone..equality for all even if they stink.

I hope they get all the money they want seriously and then when the next contract is up I hope they continue the same trend. Makes sense does it not.

They love what they do they should get paid for it.

Seriously though you dont think you could actually base a teachers worth after working with them or reviewing them for a raise without a union. That is sad.
