Im not against anyone getting a raise. The raise im against is one thats 3 to 4 percent higher than the average taxpayer gets. The schools offer of 3.5% is well within the areas raises for other good jobs. health care should be comparable too. Say 200 a month plus copays consistant with other large companies insurance premiums.

Why do they always compare their Jobs to say Freeport, Seneca? Mars? You dont work there! If you want what they get paid Quit and apply there? You think an Engineer at Armco makes what an Engineer at Alleghany Int. Makes? Probably not. Come on teachers come into reality and settle this!
