Did you also know that the teachers union sets aside what they call a strike fund so when you're teachers go on strike they still get paid, but the kids well they get shafted and to say this wont effect their education is absurd over summer vacation an average child forgets 30% of what they learned the year before. So pretty much the kids have to start the year new and have you ever seen the kids at the end of a normal school year they don't want to learn they want to be outside playing. Their going to be so burned out from getting only what like 8 days of for holidays that their not gonna want to do anything.
