Michael Calderone and Kelly Ferrer

An August wedding is being planned by Kelly Ferrer and Michael Calderone, both of Virginia.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Edelmira Carlos Salazar of Sterling, Va., and Marco Ferrer. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Paul and Carole Calderone of Emlenton.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Annandale High School and a 2007 graduate of Stratford University in Falls Church, Va. She works for Westin hotels and resorts in Virginia.

Her fiancé graduated in 1998 from Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School and in 2002 from California (Pa.)University. He works in Sterling, Va.
