John, I completely agree with you. I believe the younger generation that are now of voting age agrees with you too. As far as our educators, they have taken their positions way too far. What they need to remember is, TAXPAYERS pay their wages and voters vote new laws. How these educators treat children on a daily basis including striking, could come back to haunt them. We do as a society have the option of writing to congress and presenting new legislature that could more easily dispose of bad teachers and problematic teaching practices. TENURE could possibly become a thing of the past. If a law is passed to eliminate tenure, we could get rid of teachers that go on strike. I strongly advise that anyone opposed to tenure, should right to Kathy Dalkemper in Pa(for starters). The new laws on education and the way our children and special needs kids are treated is a huge issue. Our education system has over stepped their boundaries and misused their authority, not just here, but throughout the U.S. We are all sick of it!!!!!
