Barbara Delo Miller
Barbara Delo Miller, 50, of 1150 Oak Hill Drive, Volant, died at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at Jameson Memorial Hospital, New Castle.
Born Jan. 27, 1958, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Dixie Davis Delo Neff of Grove City and the late Norman Delo.
She was a homemaker. She formerly was vice president of the Slippery Rock Giant Eagle and the Volant Mill in Volant.
She was a graduate of Norwin High School, North Huntington.
She enjoyed ceramics and the Quilt Club at Pebble Creek in Arizona.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the New Life Baptist Church of New Wilmington. She was involved with Creative Blessings, Women of Faith and the Wednesday Night Bible Study.
Surviving are her husband, Samuel Edward Miller, who she married Dec. 13, 1993; a daughter, Jaclyn D. Bakunas (Ryan) of Halethorpe, Md.; a son, Andrew M. Boyer of Slippery Rock; a brother, Ronnie Delo and his wife, Darla, of Bagdad, Ariz.; three sisters, Shelley and Don Toucey of Indiana, Pa., Debbie and Larry Laughlin of Zelienople and Joy and Steve Anders of Charleroi; and a grandson, Colton A. Boyer.
She was preceded in death by her father and an infant daughter, Krista Boyer.
<B>MILLER </B>— Calling hours for Barbara Delo Miller, who died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, 1778 Perry Highway, Leesburg, Springfield Township. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the New Life Baptist Church, State Route 208, New Wilmington. Burial will be at the Fair Oaks Cemetery, New Wilmington.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
