I pay $300 a month for medical coverage thru my fortune 500 company with 100,000+ employees.

I have a $20 dollar co-pay for Dr visits and a $100 ER co-pay.

Whats the teachers pay a month? $25 dollars? Less? Whats their Co-pay $5 less??? Come on teachers start paying your fair share and dont tell me to educate myself and get a better Job as I Did 30 years ago. And im happy with my Life style. Get back to work in these troubling times and quit comparing your pay to other teaching jobs in the area. If you want what they are getting paid QUIT and apply at that school.I doubt you will get hired I never read where teachers quit, get laid off, only retire when they are 55 or older after their huge "bump" in Pay after so many years??? You think I could tell My boss "so in so gets paid this much at his company doing the same job as me" He would say Quit then and go there!
