Porter, Rodgers
A Dec. 27 wedding is being planned by Jennifer Porter of Hollidaysburg and Daniel Rodgers of Butler.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dr. Mark and Christine Porter of Worthington. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Vaughn and Connie Rodgers of Butler.
The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Kittanning High School and a 2004 graduate of Messiah College. In 2007, she received her master's degree in education from West Virginia University. She is currently pursuing a doctorate from Indiana (Pa.)University. She teaches health and physical education at Hollidaysburg High School.
Her fiancé graduated in 2000 from Butler High School and in 2004 from Slippery Rock University. He was elected in 2008 into PGAof America and is a PGAgolf professional for the Wildwood Golf Club in Allison Park.
