The following letter in no way is of a discriminating nature or intent, just an opinion.

Some of the letters I have been reading here speak of teen sex and teen pregnancy etc... I am in my 50's and I recall stories from my grandparents. Think about it. How many of your grandparents in that time frame dealt with topics such as teen pregnancy? Why? Women were women and men were men. Today a huge portion of teens are unwed moms. Parents have to work, back in the day, mom's stayed home and bared the financial burden, but she knew where her kids were. And those kids were taken care of. My mom was the same and I raised my children with their father(same dad for 2 kids). However a new trend has taken over. Our entire liberated country has severely decayed morals and EVERYONE that doesn't work is a degenerate. I have no discriminating issues with gay people, but they now can get married and adopt kids. Is this a moral issue? Could this be too confusing for especially our kids? I went to a catholic school for 8 years, and I was taught that God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. Has the world changed for the better? Can you really say it is anyone's fault? Look at the school system; It used to be children went to school got the grade they acheived and all moved forward. Today, there is a huge problem made out of academics. And the higher ups in charge say "No Child Left Behind" THese kids are being pressured & tortured instead! Establishments built in the fifties that have grown into huge multi million dollar businesses were not created because of a college degree. These people worked hard and flourished. Today if you try that, what the tax office doesn't take, insurance companies will. Values have changed within our laws. We the people have to live by them.Is there an answer? Or do we continue to argue with each other? As far as Republican or Democratic, I believe the democratic ticket would help bring back some of those old time values in the long run. Republican is get your money money,money! We are a broke nation!!!! Moving forward is a good thing if it brings good things. I see caos and decay of societal values and morals. Thank you
