A Haunted Bonfire is planned for 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Masonic Shelter at Alameda Park, off New Castle Road. Haunted storytelling, pinatas, candy, hot dogs, popcorn and hot chocolate will be featured. Cost is $7 per child. Advanced registration would be appreciated but is not mandatory. Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528 near the intersection of Routes 8 and 173, will host "Bump in the Night" at 7 p.m. Sunday. The folklore and legends of nocturnal noises will be discussed on an evening walk. Jennings is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and on weekends as scheduled. Moraine State Park will be the site of a Fall Foliage Cruise at 2 p.m. Saturday. Meet the park naturalist at the Davis Hollow Marina office on the North Shore to experience the park's shift from summer into fall on one of Moraine's pontoon boats. Space is limited.
