Schlumberger, Rieger
Amber Schlumberger and Douglas Rieger were united in marriage Oct. 4 at Moraine State Park. Judge Sue Haggerty officiated. A reception followed at the Days Inn in Butler.
The bride is the daughter of Robert Schlumberger of Hudson, N.H., and Roger and Karen Zier of Sarver. Parents of the bridegroom are Joel and Sandra Rieger of Butler.
The honor attendant was Shannon Schlumberger of Sarver. Bridesmaids included Wendy McCann of Crownsville, Md., and Dawn Walker of Uniontown.
Performing the duties of best man was Matthew Craig of Butler. Ushers included William Coyle of Slippery Rock, Herbert Rieger of West Sunbury, Christopher Thomas of Butler and Roger Flamino of New Castle.
The bride is a 1993 graduate of Alvirne High School in Hudson, N.H., and a 1997 graduate of Indiana (Pa.)University. She works for Masterpiece Kitchens in Harmony.
The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Slippery Rock High School and in 1999 from New Castle School of Trades. He works for the Carpenters' Union Local 1233 in Pittsburgh.
Following a honeymoon trip to downtown Pittsburgh, the couple is making their home in Butler.
