Either you don't have kids or you believe you are God. Maybe both. Who do you think you are? I believe a majority of our parents do the best they can. I also feel that constant critism towards parents today could actually attribute to the defiance we see in our teens. If we as parents are going to be put down on a regular basis, do you all really believe these kids will not be affected in a negative way? You do not have the answers. I will not have alcohol around my family. In my home, I do the best to set good examples. I do not have parties of any kind. But there is another society out there called teenagers. I have news for you Mark, kids will experiment and kids will be kids. I feel that today's teens have many obstacles, that didn't exist a long time ago. Peer pressure is huge. Stop blaming parents and instead try making positive contributions to children in any way you can. Even if it is a small daily prayer. Maybe parents and guardians need a more supportive enviroment out there in society. Supportive meaning positive feedback for a change, for the daily care they give these kids. Bad parents or drunken parents, or drug user parent, don't have kids long. Most have them taken away because they can't be there. That was an ignorant letter and shame on you. Kids learn many things from many people, even negativity such as yours towards parents.
