Heist

Larry L. Heist, 65, of Love Road in Chicora died Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 28, 1943, in Butler, he was a son of the late Charles Heist Sr. and the late Henrietta Christa Heist.

Mr. Heist owned and operated Heist Automotive from 1962 until his retirement in 2007.

He was a veteran of the Army during the Vietnam War.

Larry enjoyed hunting and classic cars. He was an outgoing man who enjoyed talking to anyone he met. He was a life member of the NRA and the Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club.

Surviving are three sons, Mark E. Heist of San Antonio, Texas, Brian D. Heist of Butler and Gregg M. Heist of Chicora; a brother, Charles Heist of Butler; and three grandchildren, Donovan, Ciara and R.T. Heist. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him.

Three brothers, Wayne, Earl, and Cliff Heist, preceded him in death.

<B>HEIST </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Larry L. Heist, who died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E.
