Moraine State Park will be the site of a "Beauty of Fall Hike" at 9 a.m. Saturday. Meet the naturalist at the park office on the South Shore for a moderate, three-mile hike to view the changing colors. "Kayaking in Color" will take place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday and at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 25. Meet the naturalist at the Pleasant Valley launch on the South Shore to kayak among the natural scenery. Take your own kayak, or reserve one of Moraine's kayaks free. Participants who use park kayaks must be at least 12. An adult must accompany those participants who are younger than 18. <B>A Star Party</B>, sponsored by the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh, is planned for about 6:40 p.m. Saturday at the Nicholas E. Wagman Observatory at Deer Lakes Regional Park, Frazer Township, Allegheny County. Participants can observe the planets Venus and Jupiter, among others. Events are held weather permitting.
