Matt Vogt, Ryan Prokay, Marissa DeCola and Jenna Rinker are area high school golfers moving on to the state tournament Monday and Tuesday in York.

Prokay, a sophomore at Grove City High, carded a 1-under-par 71 at the regional tournament Wednesday at Tom's Run to qualify.

Seneca Valley's Vogt, a senior, shot a 2-over 73 to tie for eighth and qualify for the state meet, which will be held at Heritage Hills Golf Club.

DeCola, a freshman at Butler, qualified for the girls event by shooting an 84. Rinker, a senior at Slippery Rock, shot an 86, which was the final qualifying score.

<B>Grove City 2, Commodore Perry 1 — </B>Bobby Kowalsky scored the game-winning goal in overtime off an assist from Josiah Welker. Chris Murone scored for the Eagles (12-1-1) in regulation, off a Kowalsky corner kick.Grove City goalkeeper Drew Clausen had four saves.

Five Slippery Rock High girls soccer players scored goals and Ali Doyle split time with junior varsity goalkeeper JordanMarks as the Rockets blanked KennedyCatholic 5-0.SarahCessar, Angie Shaffer, Kess Regrut, Danielle Wissinger and Anna Cessar each scored goals for the Rockets, who lost 3-1 to Hickory earlier in the week.
