Janel and George Schnur

Janel Janczewski and George Schnur were united in marriage June 21 at St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church in Reese, Mich. The Rev. Bill Gruden officiated. A reception followed at Bavarian Inn Lodge in Frankenmuth, Mich.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Denise Janczewski of Bay City, Mich., and Floyd and Maureen Wildman of Reese. Parents of the bridegroom are Dale and Linda Schnur of Boynton Beach, Fla.

The honor attendant was Erin Lewis of Saginaw, Mich.Bridesmaids were Mary Volk of Rochester, Mich.; Dacia Nemode of Clarkston, Mich.; Stephani Schrems of Houghton Lake, Mich., and Holli David of Bay City. Hostess was Chrystal Pomarille of Pinconning, Mich. Flower girl was Sophia Jones of Reese.

Performing the duties of best man was Rich Schnur of Jupiter, Fla. Groomsmen were Dean Smith of Las Vegas, Mike Slater of Butler, Tim Smith of Las Vegas and Aaron Geibel of Butler. Ushers were Jeff Shafer and Greg Hageter, both of Las Vegas. Ring bearer was Brady Goka of Reese.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Reese High School and a 2002 graduate of Central Michigan University. She works for Clark County School District in Las Vegas.

The bridegroom graduated in 1995 from Butler High School and in 2000 from Indiana (Pa.) University. He also works for Clark County School District in Las Vegas.

Following a honeymoon trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple is making their home in Las Vegas.
