Shirley Ann Waggoner

Shirley Ann Ryan Waggoner, 60, of Covington, Ga., formerly of Karns City, died Aug. 8 in a car accident.

She was born Aug. 28, 1947, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of James F. and Katherine Grindle Ryan.

Ms. Waggoner worked at REMA Tip Top in Madison, Ga. She is a 1966 graduate of Karns City High School and formerly a member of the Church of God in Karns City.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and eating out with her family and friends.

She is survived by two sons, Jay Waggoner and Kirk Waggoner, and his wife, Lindy, all of Georgia; her granddaughter, Liberty; her father; six sisters, Iona Rebic and her husband, Joe, of Oregon, Patty Crivella of Allison Park, Beatrice Nelson of Zyperhsville, Fla., Dolores Kifer and her husband, James, of Wadesboro, N.C., Alma Kelley and her husband, Thomas, of Karns City, and Caroline Grossmen of Grove City; and a brother, Melvin Ryan of Erie.

She was preceded in death by her mother; a brother, James P. Ryan; a sister, Francine Best; and a grandson, Joshua Waggoner.

<B>WAGGONER </B>— Friends of Shirley Ann Ryan Waggoner, who died Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, are asked to attend a memorial service at the Church of God in Karns City, 105 Jay Lane, at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
