The fifth annual Toys for Tots motorcycle ride sponsored by the American Legion Riders Butler Chapter 117 and the Marine Corps League, Bantam Marine Detachment 743 of Butler, gathered at the Butler Wal-Mart parking lot Oct. 4. More than 100 toys were collected as a donation to participate in the ride. Motorcycles toured Butler County stopping at West Sunbury, Grove City, Zelienople and Lyndora American Legions posts before the ride ended at the Butler American Legion on Main Street. Later that night, a dance was held at the Butler American Legion. More that $1,000 was raised to buy more toys.
