BUTLER TWP — The W.H. "Doc"McCune Chapel will be rededicated in a service at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel on Sunnyview Circle.The ceremony will include comments from Butler County Judge Tim McCune and appearances by community groups. Relatives, friends and associates are welcome at the service.

The Butler County Senior Centers Program will sponsor Meet the Candidates during October. Candidates are invited to visit any of the Butler County senior centers to meet and talk with senior constituents.Candidates interested in visiting senior centers or who need information may call the Lutheran Service Society at 724-283-9002.

CHICORA — The Garing family reunion will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church fellowship hall, 2217 Chicora Road, south of the intersection of Routes 68 and 268. Dinner will be served at 4 p.m. Members should take a dish to share.

EAST BRADY—The Sugarcreek Township Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will hold a soup and bread sale Tuesday, with pick up after 4 p.m. Soup choices will include vegetable beef and ham and bean. Customers should take containers.To order, call 724-526-3242.

SAXONBURG— The Saxonburg Library, 240 W. Main St., will host a program on "In the Shadow of the Trees" by Michael Schultz at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

BUTLER TWP — The Paul Laurence Dunbar Community Center, 501 Fairground Hill Road, will start a grief support group for children and teens. To enroll or for more information, call Mary Ann 724-287-5648.

The Butler High School Class of 1998 will hold its 10-year reunion Nov. 28 at the Brick House.
