Marian F. Vavro
Marian F. Vavro, 56, of Butler passed away Sunday at her home.
Born in Butler, Oct. 4, 1951, she was the daughter of Leo J. Miller and the late Madalene Denny Miller.
She was a homemaker. She formerly worked at the Hallmark stores in Butler and also at Bobbie Brooks.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, David G. Vavro, to whom she was married for 37 years; two sons, David M. Vavro and his wife, Nicole, of Butler and Daniel C. Vavro of Butler; her father, Leo J. Miller of Butler; one brother, Ronald G. Miller and his wife, Sue, of Natrona Heights; one sister, Patricia Barger and her husband, Richard, of Hummelstown; and one granddaughter, Aysha Lee Vavro of Butler.
<B>VAVRO</B> — Friends of Marian F. Vavro, who died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Father James Dolan, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery.The Bereavement Group of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church will meet at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home to conduct a scriptural wake service.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
