Werner, Hammonds
Jennifer Werner and Ian Hammonds were united in marriage June 21 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Pierre Falkenhan officiated. A reception followed at the Butler Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Gerard and Colleen Werner of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Phillip and Amy Hammonds of Butler.
The honor attendant was Geanna Ziegler of Wyomissing. Bridesmaids were Allyson Stough of Alice Springs, Australia; Ashley Melder of Butler, Ashlee Stefanik of Encinitas, Calif.; Kaitlyn Hammonds of Butler and Katrina Eckenrode of West Sunbury.
Performing the duties of best man was Dr. Michael Vero of Butler. Ushers were Jon Stehle of Fairfax, Va.; and Travis Gallagher, Patrick Hammonds, Justin Werner and Trevor Werner, all of Butler.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Butler High School and a 2007 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She works for the Karns City and Butler school districts.
The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Butler High School and in 2005 from Indiana (Pa.) University. He works for Highmark in Pittsburgh.
Following a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, the couple is making their home in Butler.
