Elizabeth A. Korcheck

Elizabeth A. Korcheck, 94, of Lyndora died Thursday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born March 24, 1914, in Joliet, Ill., she was a daughter of Michael and Anna (Feria) Roskovski.

She was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian.

Mrs. Korcheck is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John (Janice) Hurley of Erie, Mrs. Don (Paula) Kildoo of Butler and Andrea Karch of Butler; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She also is survived by four sisters, Anna Poprovsky, Mrs. George (Dorothy) Stefanko and Mrs. Lloyd (Margaret) Rettig, all of Butler, and Mrs. Michael (Charlotte) Aquilino of Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Joseph Korcheck; two sisters, Helen Spring and Mary Moses; and four brothers, Mike, John, Andrew and Robert Roskovski.

<B>KORCHECK</B> — Friends of Elizabeth A. Korcheck, who died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, will be received from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the <B>GEIBELFUNERAL HOME</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday from St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian, with the Rev. James Murphy, pastor, officiating.
