He was who got us out of the Great Depression , with the New Deal . It had numbers of things in it . C.C.camps , N.R.A. natioal Recovery Act , Natinal Public Administration N.R.A., W.P.A.was another that put people back to work . This even happen in Butler Pa . That stone wall , going up to 778 Legion was made by ones in W.P.A.

Pres. Herbert Hoover a REPULICAN Had gotten us in the Great Depression . The name of the day was BLACK THURSDAY . It was when the stock market crashed ! People killed themselves over it !F.D.R.made the F.D.C.I. that is the insurance in banks , That they have to have to cover peoples savings. Look on the bank's window , you will see that !

Unemployment was @ 24.9 percent ! People loosing their homes ,known as Hoovervilles. Tent city was another name for it .
