Knights edge Kiski in opener
Chris Felock scored two goals as the Knoch boys soccer team edged Kiski Area 3-2 in the season opener Tuesday.
Adam Sharbaugh accounted for the other goal and Kevin Wood added an assist for the Knights, who play in a section matchup at Hampton Thursday.
Mars 5, Hampton 1 — Tim Frigot scored two goals and Ryan McKenzies had a goal and two assists for the Planets. Christopher Karns and Alex Perri each scored a goal for the winners.
Slippery Rock 7, Commodore Perry 1 — Mike Ramirez and Dustin Hribal each scored three goals and Ryan Hyatt added one for the Rockets.Brandon Zarichnak had two assists in the victory and Mike Flecker was in goal.
