PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Fresno State headed home with another pelt from a BCS-conference team to add to its collection and the comforting thought of not having to make another road trip for almost three weeks.

The Bulldogs notched win No. 13 against teams playing in the six power conferences since 2000 — only Utah (14) has more for a non-BCS team — by taking out Rutgers 24-7 Monday night behind the power running of Ryan Matthews and a couple of big plays by Seyi Ajirotutu.

Next up for Fresno State is a home game against Wisconsin, before the Bulldogs hit the road again for trips to Toledo and UCLA.
