SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Amanda Engler, 29, of New Kensington, Westmoreland County, waived to court a charge of bad checks, filed March 9 in a private complaint.

Sarrah Fox, 20, of Pittsburgh was held for court on charges of driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and improper use of high beams, filed June 27 by Saxonburg police.

Kyle E. Hasychak, 20, of Butler waived to court charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed July 22 by Penn Township police.

Anthony L. Kormick, 18, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed July 4 by Penn Township police. Kormick was ordered to pay $341.50 in fines and court costs.

John Newell, 23, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, driving on the wrong side of the road and not using turn signals, filed July 21 by Buffalo Township police.

David Ostrowski, 53, of Natrona Heights, Allegheny County waived to court charges of DUI, filed July 27 by Buffalo Township police.

Kamaro Pew, 25, of Verona pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Sept. 26 by Penn Township police. Pew was ordered to pay $630.78 in fines and court costs.

John E. Testa Jr., 34, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed June 19 by Penn Township police. Testa was ordered to pay $328 in fines and court costs.

BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:Brian T. Byerly, 25, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, a lane violation, careless driving, an open container violation and not wearing a seat belt, filed July 15 by state policeTammy Joy Burgard, 39, of Butler waived to court charges of theft of lost or mislaid property, filed July 22 by Butler Township police.Bart Joel Cavaliero, 23, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, careless driving and possession of a small amount of marijuana, filed May 23 by Butler Township police.Randy Lee Christofano, 21, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed July 17 by state police. Christofano was ordered to pay $396.50 in fines and court costs.James Leroy Crawford Jr., 29, of York pleaded guilty to two counts of bad checks, filed Nov. 13 by Butler Township police. Crawford was ordered to pay $511.51 in restitution, fines and court costs.Donald W. Criley III, 22, of Chicora pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed June 12 by state police. Criley was ordered to pay $446.50 in fines and court costs.James Allen Evans Jr., 25, of Butler waived to court charges of theft and driving with a suspended license, filed July 15 by Butler Township police.Christina M. Johnson, 23, of Cranberry Township waived to court charges of theft, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a vehicle, identity theft and retail theft, filed in separate cases June 6 and July 21 by Butler Township police.John Michael Kelly, 45, of Cranberry Township was held for court on charges of DUI and a lane violation, filed July 21 by state police.Anthony M. Kovocovsky, 44, of Butler was held for court on a charge of retail theft, filed July 23 by Butler Township police.Frank W. Matuke Jr., 35, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI and a lighting violation, filed July 21 by state police.Robin L. McCartney, 38, of Chicora waived to court charges of DUI, possession of a controlled substance and a small amount of marijuana, driving on the wrong side of the road and a lane violation, filed July 14 by Butler Township police.Todd A. Moore, 39, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, false reports to law enforcement authorities, driving with a suspended license-DUIrelated, driving too fast for conditions, driving with improper tires and possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Aug. 1 by Butler Township police.Jennifer D. CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Leroy G. Bowser, 25, of Worthington, Armstrong County, waived to court charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license, filed June 5.Justin Brewer, 20, of Bruin waived to court charges of burglary, trespass and theft, filed June 26.Stephen Christie, age unknown, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving, an open container violation, failure to keep right and littering, filed July 7.James L. Crawford Jr., 30, of Worthington waived to court 10 counts of theft by unlawful taking, six counts each of forgery and theft by deception and four counts of receiving stolen property, filed Dec. 10.Additionally, Crawford in separate cases filed Sept. 9, waived to court two charges of bad checks.Melanie Eaton, 28, of Slippery Rock waived to court 48 counts each of forgery and securing execution of documents by deception, 50 counts of theft, three counts of conspiracy and two counts of receiving stolen property, filed July 14.Vincent Greco, 27, of Butler waived to court 48 counts of forgery and two counts each of conspiracy to commit theft and receiving stolen property, filed July 14.Tammy Kay Hilliard, 40, of Butler was held for court on charges of DUI and driving with improper tires, filed July 2.Richard Hughes, 21, of Parker pleaded guilty to a charge of receiving stolen property, filed May 23. Hughes was ordered to pay $390.50 in fines and court costs.Christopher Kosol, 34, of McKees Rocks, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of retail theft and conspiracy, filed Aug. 19.Carrie M. Mercatell, 32, of Cowansville, Armstrong County, waived to court four counts of retail theft, filed June 9.Nathan Lee Pemberton, 28, of East Butler waived to court charges of DUI, a stop sign violation and disregarding traffic lanes, filed July 1.Dino D. Scarselli, 46, of Pittsburgh pleaded guilty to a charge of unsworn falsification, filed July 14. Scarselli was ordered to pay $246.50 in fines and court costs.Gregory A. Smith, 29, of Chicora waived to court charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving with a suspended license, driving too fast for conditions, failure to keep right and careless driving, filed June 30.Eric Snow, 20, of Karns City waived to court charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license-DUIrelated, careless driving, reckless driving and driving with rear lights, filed July 24.Steven Todd Sutton, 30, of Tarentum, Allegheny County, waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed March 28.
