Betty L. Brown Vozar, 73, of Fenelton passed away Saturday at her home surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 13, 1934, in Butler Township, the daughter of the late Charles Melvin Brown and the late Martha Mae (Caldwell) Brown.

She enjoyed taking care of people as a nursing assistant at nursing homes. She also enjoyed gardening, watching horse races, fishing and playing bingo.

Surviving are four daughters, Darlene (the late James) Stephenson of Butler, Karen (Wayne) Graham of Butler, Glenda Schnur of Ford City and Connie (Karl) Williams of Karns City; three sons, Joseph (Lisa) Vozar of Butler, Brian (Jessica) Vozar of Butler and Gary Vozar, who lived with his mother in Fenelton; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bernice (Sherwell) Hepfl of Butler and Barbara (the late Donald) Graham of Butler; and a brother, Charles (Janet) Brown of Chicora.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph T. Vozar; a sister, Doris Sutton; and a half-brother, John Brown.

<B>VOZAR</B> — A memorial service for Betty L. (Brown) Vozar, who died Saturday, July 26, 2008, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2217 Chicora Road, Chicora, with the Rev. James Higgins officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Young Funeral Home Ltd., Box 1522, Butler, PA 16003.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, and information is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
