Dorothy E. "Dot" Pasqualichio, 82, of Butler passed away Saturday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Connoquenessing Township, Nov. 9, 1925, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Gertrude Saylor Kriess.

She was a homemaker, and she was formerly employed as a bookkeeper for the G.C. Murphy Co. and the Ames Department Store. She was also formerly employed at the cafeteria at Butler Senior High School.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

She was an original member of the Meridian Fife and Drum Corps, and she later served as a board member. She also was treasurer of the Meridian Fife and Drum Corps Alumni.

She was a life member and longtime treasurer and a former president of the Musical Theatre Guild. She produced many MTG productions, and she was ticket chairman for numerous shows.

She was also involved with the Butler Little Theatre and the Summer Dramatics Project.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy Pasqualichio of Butler; six brothers, Dick Kriess and his wife, Shirley, of Hobart, Ind., Henry "Cork" Kriess of Butler, Larry Kriess and his wife, Pat, of Butler, Jack Kriess and his wife, Jane, of Renfrew, Ronald Kriess and his wife, Sally, of Butler and Gary "Butch" Kriess and his wife, Diana, of Connoquenessing; five sisters, Mrs. Margaret "Peg" Fleming of Renfrew, Mrs. Eleanor "Sis" Critchlow of Renfrew, Mrs. Marlin Guest of Herman, Mrs. Suzanne Weiland of Butler and Mrs. Bob (Shirley) Barr of Butler; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Patsy Pasqualichio, who died June 30, 2001; two sisters, Beverly Stephenson and Karen Kriess; and one brother, James Kriess.

<B>PASQUALICHIO</B> — Friends of Dorothy E. "Dot" Pasqualichio, who died Saturday, July 26, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Michael Cemetery.The Bereavement Group of St. Michael the Archangel Parish will meet at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home to conduct a scriptural wake service.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Musical Theatre Guild, P.O.
