Mark James Farren

Mark James Farren, born Sept. 16, 1951, in Grove City, was taken into the arms of the Lord on July 25, 2008. He was the beloved son of Lillian Hamilton Farren and James H. Farren of Boyers.

Mark graduated from the Clarence Brown Special School. He worked for a few years at the Sheltered Workshop in Butler. He also attended the Best Program operated by Lifesteps in Butler.

Mark lived most of his life in Boyers. He attended the Boyers United Methodist Church. He will be remembered for his love of hymns and singing his version of these hymns. He loved and enjoyed all types of music, bowling and eating out. Mark spent a portion of his life in a community living arrangement operated by PARC in Butler, where he had made many friends.

Mark was a very special man and he will be remembered for his quirky sense of humor and his laugh that always put a smile on the face of everyone and especially his love of everyone.

Mark is survived by his brother, Daniel H. "Trapper" Farren and his wife, Doris, of West Sunbury; his sister, Milly (Dennis)Weeter of Boyers; his nephews, Vance Farren of West Sunbury and Brice (Keri) Weeter of Alpharetta, Ga.; and his niece, Alane Weeter of Boyers.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillian Farren of Boyers, and his nephew, Daniel D. Farren of West Sunbury and Charleston, S.C.

<B>FARREN</B> — Friends of Mark James Farren, who died Friday, July 25, 2008, will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>the William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kathleen Soltis, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Old Annandale Cemetery.
