For the first time since District 10 realigned, the Slippery Rock High golf team stood atop the field.

Jeff Tracy won medalist honors with a 3-over-par 74, besting the other 33 golfers competing in the Region 6 megamatch at Hickory VFW Golf Course Thursday, and helped the Rockets edge Hickory for the top spot.

Ryan Prokay shot a 76 to lead Grove City to a third-place finish.

After two megamatches, Slippery Rock and Hickory are tied for the lead with 13 points.
