OLD ECONOMY VILLAGE
Old Economy Village is a National Historic Landmark site, located within the National Historic Landmark District of Ambridge on Route 65. The visitor's center is the starting point for visitors to the village and is located at the intersection of Church and Sixteenth streets. Parking is free.
The village is open from March through December. Regular hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. The historic site is closed Mondays and holidays, except Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and Labor Day.
Admission is free Aug. 31, but is normally charged as $7 for adults age 18 and older; $6 for senior citizens age 60 and older; $5 for children ages 6 to 17, and free for children younger than 6.
During the month of August, all children accompanied by an adult are admitted free to this site as one of two dozen operated by the The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
