Sarah and Samuel Regal

Samuel and Sarah Regal of Zelienople celebrated 65 years of marriage with a dinner for family and friends, arranged by their children, in the Doc Stewart Hall of the Harmony Museum.

Regal married the former Sarah Ziegler on July 22, 1943, at Grace Church in Harmony.

They have four children, David Regal of Scotch Plains, N.J.; Vivian Tedrow of Freehold, N.J.; Karen Reid of Toms River, N.J.; and Daniel Regal of Appleton, Wis.

They also have six grandchildren.Regal retired in 1986 as the controller of Consolidated Natural Gas in Pittsburgh. He and his wife are members of Historic Harmony and the Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church.
