Mark and Melissa Auvil

Melissa Johns and Mark Auvil were united in marriage June 14 at the West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church in West Sunbury. The Rev. Wayne Bell officiated. A reception followed at Betsy's Barn.

The bride is the daughter of Gene and Rose McEathron of North Carolina and Gary Johns and Isabel Rodrigues of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Kathleen Auvil of West Sunbury and Scott Auvil of Pittsburgh.

The honor attendant was Felicia Cool of Niles, Ohio. Bridesmaids included Claudine Eshenbaugh of West Sunbury, Chloe Eshenbaugh of West Sunbury, Leah Brown of Wooster, Ohio; and Patty Tiche of Sewickley. Flower girls were Nicole Auvil of Butler, Kristin Auvil of Butler, Raegen Cool of Niles, and Mikayla Auvil of Hilliards.

Performing the duties of best man was Brad Tiche of Sewickley. Ushers included Jason Johns of Louisburg, N.C.; Keith Auvil of Hilliards, Greg Anderson of Boyers and Joe Gargasz of Pittsburgh. Ring bearer was Kaleb Eshenbaugh of West Sunbury.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Butler High School. She works for Kinder Care in Seven Fields.

The bridegroom graduated from Moniteau High School in 1986 and from Grove City College in 1990. He is self-employed at the Forestville Beer Distributor.

Following a honeymoon trip to Mexico, the couple is making their home in Forestville.
