The Melders in 1958

Raymond and Joanne Melder of Cranberry Township celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner July 25 at the Bravo in Cranberry Township.

Melder married the former Joanne Dixon on July 25, 1958, at the chapel at Fort Jackson, S.C.

They have four children, Raymond Melder of Butler, David Melder of Renfrew, Dana Osselborn of Evans City and Richard Melder of Beaver.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Melder is retired from Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania.

Mrs. Melder is retired from the Minerals, Metals and Materials Society.

The couple are members of Dutilh United Methodist Church.
