The Davises in 1958

Frank and Betty Davis of Slippery Rock will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner and card shower Aug. 10 at the Golden Corral in Hermitage. Congratulations may be sent to the couple at 101 Davis Lane, Slippery Rock, PA 16057.

Davis married the former Betty Kelley on Aug. 13, 1958, at the Cross Roads Presbyterian Church in Gibsonia.

They have two children, Dave Davis of Slippery Rock and Connie Scott of Pulaski.

They also have two granddaughters.

Davis is retired from working as a welder for Pullman Standard Car Company in Butler.

Mrs. Davis is a homemaker.

The couple are members of Muddy Creek United Presbyterian Church, where Mr. Davis is a former trustee and Mrs. Davis is a former elder, former session member and has been the organist for 40 years.

They also belong to the Slippery Rock Grange, Butler County Pomona Grange and the State Grange.
