Thomas C. Nock

Thomas C. Nock, 67, of Cranberry Township died Monday at UPMC Passavant Cranberry Hospital.

Born Dec. 4, 1940, in Ross Township, he was the son of the late William J. and Elizabeth M. (Shema) Nock.

He was a very active member of the St. Gregory Catholic Church, Zelienople, where he belonged to the prayer group.

Mr. Nock was an Army Vietnam War veteran and was a member of the Cranberry Township VFW Post 879.

He retired in 1993 from Duquesne Light as an electrical crew leader.

He enjoyed golf and woodworking and especially loved his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Lynn) Nock, whom he married Aug. 8, 1970; four daughters, Theresa Lynn Wagner (James) of Butler, Debra Lee Allen (Scott) of Harmony, Adele Marie Haynes (Brad) of Ellwood City and Michelle Ann Balderston (Chuck) of New Brighton; five brothers, William J. Nock of Ross Township, Edward A. Nock of Gibsonia, Francis C. Nock of Ingomar, Charles R. Nock of Callery and Paul R. Nock of Slippery Rock; two sisters, Mary Ann Glies of Ross Township and Margaretta Catherine Weinbrenner of Cranberry Township; six grandchildren, Nora, Sebastian, Dylan, Madison, Jonathan and Elizabeth; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph F. Nock; and a sister, Elizabeth M. Lemmon.

<B>NOCK</B> — Friends <B></B>of Thomas C. Nock, who died Monday, June 30, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. There will be no visitation Friday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople. Burial, with military honors, will follow at the St. Gregory Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Gregory Catholic School, 2 W.
