Albert L. Dietrich
Albert L. Dietrich, 88, of Butler died at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Grove Manor following a short illness.
Born Feb. 15, 1920, in Butler, he was the son of Harry Benjamin and Myrtle Loretta Rankin Dietrich.
He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Mr. Dietrich retired from Cooper Energy as a foundry worker.
He enjoyed working on the farm, playing the organ and his dog, Charlie.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James (Bonnie Lou) Miller of Harrisville and Joanne Dunkle of Slippery Rock; a son and his wife, Blair and Debbie Dietrich of Butler; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Clarence Dietrich of Prospect; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Mershimer Dietrich; a son, Gary Dietrich; a granddaughter, Rachel; four sisters; and two brothers.
<B>DIETRICH </B>— Friends of Albert L. Dietrich, who died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the <B>William F. young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. David Johnson of the First Baptist Church in Grove City officiating. Burial will be at the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
