Ross and Mary Pelusi

Mary Elias and Ross Pelusi were united in marriage April 26 at St. Thomas More University Parish in Indiana, Pa. The Rev. Toufic Nasr officiated. A reception followed at Pyramid's Lounge in Johnstown.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Magdalene Elias of Northern Cambria. Parents of the bridegroom are Steven and Diane Pelusi of Butler.

The honor attendant was Elizabeth George of Atlanta.

Performing the duties of best man was Sean Pelusi of Butler.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Bishop Carroll High School. She received her bachelor's degree in 2003 and her master's degree in 2006, both from Indiana (Pa.) University. She works for ITT Technical Institute in Harrisburg.

The bridegroom graduated from Butler High School in 2000. He is enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves, for which he served a one-year deployment to Iraq. He then graduated from the Harrisburg Municipal Police Academy in 2004. He is employed by Susquehanna Township Police Department in Harrisburg.

Following a honeymoon trip to Italy, the couple is making their home in Harrisburg.
