Floyd and Ruth Johnston

Floyd and Ruth Johnston of the Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople celebrated 65 years of marriage with a family luncheon June 22 at the Butler Country Club.

Johnston married the former Ruth Gray on June 12, 1943, at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis.

They have five children, Richard Johnston of Las Vegas, Bill Johnston of Valencia, Dwight Johnston of Gibsonia, Joe Johnston of Renfrew and Linda Doman of Pittsburgh.

They also have 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Johnston is the retired president of Mars National Bank.

Mrs. Johnston is retired from working for the Mars School District.
