Butler artist Carl McGrady is being featured through Aug. 6 at Monkdogz Urban Art Gallery in New York City.

His work is part of "Zephyr Show," an international group exhibit that opened July 17.

In September, he will have a solo show at the Mary Hulton Phillips Gallery on the Butler County Community College campus. In addition, he will be a featured artist at The Art Center in Butler in November and again there during the annual Holiday Show and Sale, with one of his favorite series "Angels of Calabria."

He works in oil and paints, primarily in black and white. He is a member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh.

The 1964 graduate of Butler High School studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, University of Chicago and Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan. He served in the Air Force and worked in the fields of international hospitality, real estate, insurance and investments.
