Nancy and Jim Schnur

Jim and Nancy Schnur of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner July 26 at the East Butler Fire Hall.

Schnur married the former Nancy Gardner on July 25, 1958.

They have five children, James Schnur of Frederick, Md., Pam Maskal of Butler, Bill Schnur of Frederick, Md., Bryan Schnur of Brunswick, Md., and Sandee Heavner of Capon Bridge, W.V.

They also have 10 grandchildren.

Schnur is retired from United Telephone (Sprint).

Mrs. Schnur is a homemaker and child care provider.

The Schnurs are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
